We are seeking a hands-on Development Manager who can lead a team of talented software developers in designing, building, and delivering high-quality software solutions. This is a critical leadership role that blends technical excellence, strategic vision, and people management to drive our development initiatives forward. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in modern cloud technologies, a passion for mentorship, and a track record of delivering scalable, maintainable, and high-performing software systems. You'll be expected to roll up your sleeves when necessary, while also empowering and enabling your team to do their best work. Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Architect, design, and implement scalable and robust software solutions using cutting-edge cloud technologies and services. Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals. Guide technical decision-making and ensure adherence to software engineering best practices and coding standards. Identify and mitigate risks early in the project lifecycle and ensure the delivery of high-quality software on time and within scope. Provide hands-on support with code reviews, architecture discussions, and critical implementations as needed. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously raising the bar for technical excellence. Qualifications
7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role. Strong experience building modern event based systems with .NET/C# Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes on AWS). Experience building cloud native systems using AWS. Deep understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and release management. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent. BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
