Your Role with Keystone Automotive Operations Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. is currently looking to hire a

Cross Dock Manager

for our

Alsip, IL

location!

Our Cross Dock Managers are responsible for managing their delivery team and overseeing the operations of a distribution cross dock to include the tasks needed to ensure the proper delivery of product to our customers.

Responsibilities Include:

Direct, coordinate, and supervise the activities of drivers to ensure productivity and safety of our drivers, vehicles and equipment and our customer’s products. Ensure safe & timely delivery of invoiced product to our established customers. Performance of your team – review & drive personal metrics, perform regularly scheduled observations, adherence to driver schedules and pre-determined routes. Document, schedule, and verify completion of regularly scheduled maintenance and repairs to company fleet. Interview, hire, onboard, and coach. Communicate directly with distribution center leaders on condition and timeliness of received shipments. Communicate with Customer Service team on returns, damaged product, etc. Maintaining the physical condition of your facility to reflect cleanliness, efficiency, and organization (5S). Maintain daily, weekly, monthly reports. Assume other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.

Qualifications Include:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. 5 years+ in specialized profession or equivalent. Prior senior lead / supervisor experience. At least 5 years+ of experience in transportation and material handling activities for high volume warehousing and/or freight consolidation trucking terminal operations. Must be able to work in cooperation able to communicate effectively with others. Ability to lift up to 75lbs. Have no motor vehicle violations within the last 24 months Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen Must be able to pass a DOT physical Must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, and climb.
