AJB General Contractor has been operating in the Las Vegas Valley as a commercial general contractor since 1989. We specialize in Commercial Ground-Up, Tenant Improvement, and Design-Build Projects,
under $5 million . With a reputation built on quality, trust, and long-standing relationships, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. We're looking for a Project Manager/Estimator to join our team - someone with strong analytical skills who can confidently prepare detailed project estimates and, along with a construction team and Senior Management, manage projects from pre-construction through closeout. WHAT YOU'LL DO Review plans, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate Hard Bids and Budget Estimates Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals Identify trade scopes and issue Invitations to Bid (ITBs) Prepare professional, client-ready proposal packages Develop and track project schedules and budgets Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal team members Administer subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders Approve invoices and monitor project costs Ensure project quality, safety, and schedule are maintained throughout construction Represent AJB professionally with clients, consultants, and agencies Requirements WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 3+ years
of experience in commercial estimating and/or project management Strong understanding of construction documents and trade scopes Excellent math skills and comfort working with budgets and detailed proposals Team player with a collaborative mindset and a strong sense of accountability Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong communication and coordination skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with project management software is a plus Familiarity with Las Vegas-area permitting and building processes is a bonus Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
