Position Overview:
The
Assembly Line Associate
is responsible for assembling products, monitoring the production process, and ensuring that products meet quality standards. This position is seasonal on-site, full-time/1st Shift (7 am until 3:30 pm/Mon-Fri) at the Joliet, DC.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- include but are not limited to the following: Assemble gifts by hand, place products in gift boxes, and neatly package all gifts, label, and tape gift boxes manually as requested. Ensure quality assembly of products, meeting customer and regulatory requirements. Comply with and understand safety regulations, product quality assurance (Q.A.), and GMP rules. Strive to keep a quick but quality production speed, meeting Hickory Farms' fast-paced environment. Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times. High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience a plus. Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Must be able to complete the "essential job functions" with "reasonable accommodations" and meet all the mandatory qualifications under the ADA guidelines. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to perform essential physical activities such as lifting, climbing, standing, stooping, or typing. Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone. Compensation:
$15/hour
