Job Title: Openings in Electro/Mechanical/General Assembly up to 24/hr

Job Description

This role involves performing complex electro/mechanical assembly of separate and multi-unit products, working from engineering drawings or specifications. While procedures are often prescribed, occasionally planning the assembly procedure is required. The position demands adjusting, fitting, and aligning components to meet inspection standards, requiring ten thousand hours of experience to acquire necessary skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

Perform difficult and final electro/mechanical assembly of complex products.

Work from engineering drawings or specifications to assemble products.

Adjust, fit, and align components to meet close tolerances and inspection standards.

Plan assembly procedures when necessary.

Complete other duties as designated by supervisor.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in assembly, work orders, and

blueprint reading.

Ability to use dial indicators without fixtures/jigs.

Experience with bearing installation using oil and grease.

Capability to assemble various frame sizes, including DC generators and motor generator sets.

Skill in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and specifications.

Proficiency with bearing puller/removal tools.

Ability to safely rig and lift large/irregular parts using multiple rigging and lifting methods.

Familiarity with basic hand tools for electrical measurement and testing.

Expertise in making certified heavy and small gauge crimps.

Ability to work with plumbing joints and tools such as parker hose/crimp tool and pipe cutting/threading.

The pay range for this position is $63648.00 - $84656.00/yr.
