$22.63/hr Duration:
13 weeks Expected Shift:
40 hrs/week M-F 8am-4:30pm
Unit: PFS Customer Service Please include 1 completed reference with submission*
Requirements: 2 years of experience Experience in a call center Knowledge of insurance eligibility, payments and authorizations Experience with accounts receivable
Education: H.S. Diploma, GED, or Equivalent (Minimum)
Preferred: Associate's Degree Bilingual English/Spanish
Job Summary: This position is responsible for administering the Collection Philosophy of Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego for all self pay accounts. The Customer Service Specialist I will identify accounts with a self pay balance after insurance has paid and those without insurance and will collect on those accounts. The incumbent will assist the families with financial assistance applications. The incumbent will work with families to establish payment plans in accordance with hospital policy and monitor the payment plans for compliance. The Customer Service Specialist I will receive incoming telephone calls and assist families with information pertaining to their accounts, understanding statements, and previous insurance payments. Incumbent will check Medi-Cal eligibility, apply share of costs, and update accounts with insurance information. The Customer Service Specialists will receive patient complaints in regards to billing and take appropriate action, based upon policy and procedures.
Our client is the one of the largest Healthcare Staffing Provider in the United States, to be assigned at one of their affiliated hospitals/healthcare facilities.
This particular client is requiring that all new hires show proof of vaccination.
