What does a Cash Management Technical Specialist do?
Responsible for providing technical support for Commercial Services; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other divisions and departments; reporting pertinent information; responding to inquiries or requests for information. This individual assesses customer needs and probes to determine the best method for completely satisfying these needs; focusing on what we can do for the customer, rather than what we cannot do. Through their support of cash management customers in operational business needs, such as trouble shooting, account set up, equipment installation, the Cash Management Technical Specialist ensures the clients overall account success.
What is needed to be successful in this role?
A high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in business curriculum; specialized computer education / training
A minimum of one (1) years’ experience in related positions normally required
Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills
Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills
Working knowledge of various PC applications including Microsoft Office software and scanning
Specific knowledge of commercial deposit products and the features, benefits, and operating policies and procedures of bank products and services.
What does a successful first year in this position look like?
Provides technical support for Commercial Services as follows:
Responds to customer and internal inquiries; assesses nature of inquiry and identifies best course of action. For inquiries outside scope of role, identifies internal owner and forwards inquiry appropriately for resolution.
Tracks inquiries and analyzes them for trends, i.e., issue categorization, volumes, impediments to resolution, and success rate.
Acts as technical information resource for payment products; delivers technical knowledge.
Develops and maintains customer profiles and data systems for specific payments products, i.e., RDC, ACH, and Positive Pay.
Sets up and supports customer accounts, i.e., RDC, Positive Pay.
Assists with outgoing call campaigns and audit requirements; responds to auditors and executes outbound customer audits.
Maintains effective communication channels with all functional department interfaces; recommends process improvements and contributes on product development projects, developing supporting procedures and product manuals.
Acquires and organizes product knowledge; develops and maintains expertise in all electronic payment products.
Develops and maintains a knowledge repository system for electronic payments products.
Installs and supports the onboarding of new or updated cash management tools at business locations.
Supports the resolution of calls from the Help Desk.

Compensation range- $22.00 - $23.50
The actual salary offered within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, level offered, and performance expectations.
