Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our DNA production team, specifically in the synthesis and cleaving-deprotection areas. This position involves hands-on lab work and supports key scientific processes in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring technical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow in a laboratory setting.
Key Responsibilities Perform laboratory tasks related to DNA synthesis and cleaving-deprotection processes Accurately follow lab protocols and document procedures Operate basic laboratory instruments and equipment Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of lab instruments Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily output goals Maintain a clean and organized workspace Use basic computer applications for data entry and process documentation Adapt to flexible work schedules, including occasional extended hours
Required Qualifications 1–2 years of college coursework completed, preferably in a scientific field Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic lab environment Basic proficiency with PCs, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications Strong basic math, reading, and writing skills Flexibility to work more than 8 hours as needed
Preferred Qualifications Background in science or related laboratory coursewor Prior laboratory experience, either professionally or in an academic setting Familiarity with laboratory instruments and equipment operations Experience handling biological or chemical samples
