Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Design, build, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to ingest, process, and store data from various sources, initially focusing on our on-prem SQL Server environment. Develop and manage data warehouse solutions and data models to support business intelligence and analytics needs. Administer and optimize existing SQL Server databases and SSRS reports while actively participating in the migration strategy and execution towards AWS data services (e.g., Redshift, RDS, Glue, S3) and Tableau. Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop, deploy, and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau, migrating existing SSRS reports where applicable. Implement and monitor data quality checks, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems. Troubleshoot data-related issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement fixes to ensure data pipeline reliability and performance. Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures. Evaluate and recommend new data technologies, tools, and AWS services to enhance our data capabilities. Ensure adherence to data governance policies and maintain strict compliance with data security and privacy regulations, particularly HIPAA and ePHI standards within a healthcare context. Participate in an on-call rotation schedule for critical data infrastructure support as needed. Support incident management processes for data-related events. Required Skills/Abilities:

Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Database Developer, or similar role. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server and Postgres. Experience developing ETL/ELT processes using tools like SSIS, Python, or other relevant technologies. Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques (star schema, snowflake schema). Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS data services (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, RDS, Lambda). Experience with cloud migration projects is a significant plus. Experience with BI and visualization tools; Tableau experience is highly desirable, and SSRS experience is valuable for the migration process. Proficiency in Python, C# and SQL Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Understanding of data security best practices and compliance requirements (knowledge of HIPAA is crucial). Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a dynamic environment. A well-organized and self-directed individual capable of working with minimal supervision. Education/Experience:

High school diploma with at least 3 years of relevant Programming or Data Engineering experience. Hands-on experience in managing cloud-native applications and infrastructure. Proven experience in deploying and managing containerized applications in a production environment. Preferred Skill/Abilities:

Debezium CDC processing a plus Direct experience migrating data workloads from on-premises SQL Server/SSRS to AWS/Tableau. Deep experience with the AWS data ecosystem (Redshift, Glue, Athena, Kinesis). Experience working within the Healthcare industry. Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and potentially AWS Certification(s) (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect). Experience with git Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
