We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee operations at our vibrant poolside bar and grill. Nestled in a luxury residential resort setting, this role is ideal for a hospitality leader who thrives in a high-end, guest-focused environment and enjoys curating unforgettable dining experiences under the sun.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations: Manage and coordinate daily functions of the bar and grill, including staffing, service delivery, inventory, and cleanliness.
Team Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff; promote a positive and engaging work culture.
Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service, resolve guest concerns quickly, and maintain a welcoming poolside atmosphere.
Menu Oversight: Collaborate with culinary staff to develop seasonal menus, specials, and beverage offerings tailored to resident tastes.
Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage budgets to ensure profitability.
Compliance: Enforce health and safety standards, food handling protocols, and alcohol regulations in accordance with local laws.
Resident Relations: Coordinate with HOA or residential community managers to plan special events, resident tastings, and holiday activations.
Reporting: Provide regular performance updates, including sales reports, staffing needs, and service metrics to resort management.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
3+ years in food & beverage management, preferably in a resort or upscale casual environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of food safety standards and alcohol regulations
Proven ability to manage budgets and drive revenue
Experience with POS systems and inventory management
ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred
Ability to work in outdoor, high-traffic settings
Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
