Job Description To support the vision, mission, and strategic priorities of ESC Region 12. The Skyward Student Software Support position will provide consulting and software support for the Skyward Student Information Services software for participating Texas school districts.

Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with the candidate's Skyward experience and/or Skyward certifications

Education/Experience At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred Bachelor degree preferred Citizenship, residency or work visa requiredExperience as a user/trainer at district/campus level for Skyward Student Information SoftwareExperience at a Texas school district, preferred Possess working knowledge of Skyward Student Information Software Knowledgeable in school processes and procedures including: - Student Attendance Accounting - Master Schedule Building/Student Scheduling - Grade Reporting/Transcripts/GPA Working knowledge of Texas Data Systems (TSDS) processes Special Knowledge/Skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google Apps Possess excellent communication, public relations and interpersonal skills Able to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines - both independently and as part of a team Express positive attitude, enthusiasm and excellent people skills Positive attitude, dependable, team player Ability to implement policy and procedures Handle critical deadlines, demonstrate initiative in difficult situations General Responsibilites

Participate in statewide Skyward SIS activities, including required training, as well as providing research and evaluation as appropriate for the purpose of software development Provide technical/consultative support in Student Information System (SIS) software operations and related software products to contracted LEAs Support and assist contracted LEAs in proper coding of all PEIMS and other state-required student data reporting within local and state-mandated deadlines Document details of customer cases for future support reference On-site visits to school districts for training and/or problem solving, if warranted Escalate and communicate issues efficiently in order to achieve quality resolutions quickly Train local school district users in the proper procedures for the utilization of the supported Skyward Student Information Services software Assist in the preparation of materials, media and presentation data for workshops Pursue Skyward Certification Support internal ESC 12 functions and core values Participate in ESC Region 12 and/or other professional development opportunities Security Requirements

Benefit Information

ESC Region 12 provides monetary contribution up to $575 per month to use for employee/family healthcare and supplemental benefits. Employee earns state personal, sick and vacation leave. All employees contribute to both: Teachers Retirement System (TRS) and Social Security retirement.
