Job Title: Domestic Violence Coordinated Entry Specialist
Reports to: Director of Housing

Job Summary:
The DV Coordinated Entry Specialist will support survivors of domestic violence in accessing the Continuum of Care's Coordinated Entry System (CES). The specialist will conduct assessments, facilitate referrals, ensure trauma-informed engagement, and maintain strict confidentiality standards using the DVIM database. This role is field- and office-based and requires collaboration with both DV and non-DV service partners.

Primary Duties
Description
Survivor Engagement
Conduct initial contact and intake for survivors entering CES. Use trauma-informed and culturally responsive communication.
Housing Assessments
Administer standardized CES assessments to determine vulnerability and housing prioritization.
Safety Planning
Offer individualized safety planning support in collaboration with local DV service providers.
Referrals & Navigation
Connect survivors to housing programs and wraparound services through the CES process.
System Coordination
Attend case conferencing, regional CE meetings, and coordinate with CE Lead & DV partners to reduce barriers.
DVIM Data Entry
Maintain accurate and timely records in the DVIM system (non-HMIS comparable database).
Outreach
Provide education and outreach to community organizations on survivor access to CES.
Training Support
Assist with community training sessions on confidentiality, CE policies, and trauma-informed practices.
Client Follow-Up
Support warm handoffs and maintain communication until client is successfully referred or placed.
Required Qualifications:
Experience working with survivors of DV/SA/human trafficking Familiarity with Coordinated Entry or housing navigation Strong knowledge of trauma-informed and culturally competent care High level of confidentiality and professionalism Proficiency in data entry and comfort learning new systems (DVIM training will be provided)
