Moody Center's Marketing & Creative team is dedicated to delivering world-class experiences at Austin's premier live event venue. The

Junior Graphic Designer

will play a crucial role in bringing the Moody Center brand to life-supporting unforgettable fan moments, artist hospitality, and the city's vibrant cultural scene. This role will support the development of design assets for live events, venue marketing, sponsorship activations, and fan-facing campaigns. The Junior Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with marketing team to deliver high-quality visuals that enhance the Moody Center brand, support artist and fan experiences, and showcase Austin's status as the "Live Music Capital of the World."

This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00-$25.00

This position will remain open until September 30, 2025.

Responsibilities Design original graphics and layouts for events, social media, digital advertising, email marketing, and venue signage. Adapt custom show poster artwork into multiple formats for in-venue digital displays, print materials, and social media content. Support development of fan-facing creative assets such as stickers, postcards, merchandise concepts, photo booth graphics, and projection visuals. Prepare assets for in-venue activations, including LED boards, interactive projection mapping, and lobby displays. Collaborate with the Creative Manager and Marketing team on mood boards, creative direction, and brainstorming sessions for "Good Moods" premium branding campaigns. Maintain consistent organization of design assets, keeping folders, files, and production layers well-labeled and structured for easy team use and version control. Help manage and organize the shared design library of templates, assets, and brand guidelines. Ensure timely delivery of all creative assets in alignment with project timelines and event calendars. Review and proof all work to maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and brand compliance. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

1-2 years of internships or professional graphic design experience (venue, live events, entertainment, music, sports, or agency experience a plus). Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); experience with After Effects or animation tools is a plus. Strong design skills with an eye for layout, typography, color, and composition. Ability to adapt existing templates, brand guidelines, and mood boards into polished, on-brand deliverables. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, including the ability to maintain well-organized files and asset libraries for team collaboration. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Collaborative mindset with clear communication skills and a willingness to take feedback constructively. Preferred Skills & Experience

Familiarity with motion design or interest in learning animation workflows. Experience creating large-format or print-ready design files for posters, merchandise, or signage. Understanding of digital signage formats and venue-specific display requirements. Interest in live music, entertainment marketing, and event promotion.
