POSTION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Operations, the ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating business processes, gathering requirements, and implementing technology-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic objectives. You'll play a critical role in shaping how systems and tools evolve to meet the needs of an exciting and uniquely challenging environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements Gathering & Analysis • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their business needs • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and workflows

System Design & Documentation • Evaluate current systems and processes for improvement opportunities • Create system diagrams, user stories, process maps, and technical documentation

Implementation & Testing • Support implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing platforms • Design and implement seamless data and system connectivity using middleware, APIs, and scripting to enable efficient integration across platforms • Develop and deploy scripts to automate repetitive tasks, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort across systems • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshoot issues, and validate system changes

Project Management

• Manage timelines and deliverables for assigned projects • Serve as liaison between cross-functional teams, developers, and vendors

Training & Ongoing Support • Deliver training sessions and user guides for new systems or features • Provide ongoing support and act as a subject matter expert for business systems • Develop and execute processes for auditing services

Continuous Improvement • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies • Proactively recommend tools and strategies to streamline operations

Other • Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned or require.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience: • 3-5 years in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role • Experience with enterprise software (ERP, CRM, HRIS and other common software) • Familiarity with project management methodologies

Related Skills & Other Requirements • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in data analysis tools and documentation platforms • Experience scripting automations using Bash, Python, etc • Ability to balance technical constraints with business priorities • Hands-on experience with API integrations and data workflows • Experience with Workday, SAP Concur, Cvent, and NetSuite preferred

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The full-time annual compensation range is $90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience.
