Opportunity information:

The selected physician will provide both interventional and general cardiology care in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. Duties may include outpatient clinic, inpatient consultative services, study interpretation, diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, device implantation, teaching medicine residents and medical students and supporting the advanced practice providers. Position consists of procedural and clinical duties and works collaboratively with other specialists as necessary in providing the best care to Veterans. The position provides an outstanding opportunity for individuals committed to an academic focus with clinical care, teaching and even research opportunities. Selected candidate will be considered for a faculty appointment within the Department of Medicine at University of Washington and be involved with educating and teaching of medical students, residents & other providers. The Cardiology Section serves patients across the spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care for more than 30,000 veterans.

Work Schedule : Full-time, Monday-Friday, with no current on-call coverage requirements.

  • U.S. Citizenship, although non-US Citizens may be considered.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.
  • Board Certification preferred, but Board Eligibility may also be considered.
