- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. There are an average of 10-12 patients per shift. A full-time locum Oncology NP/PA is needed to provide coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM; however, Fridays will be limited to a 4-hour shift. Guaranteed hours are 8 per day, excluding Friday, and overtime applies after 10 hours per day with prior approval from clinical operations. Providers are expected to complete their work within scheduled hours, and while excessive overtime is not anticipated, the option of a read/study rate may be considered if necessary. Bone marrow biopsy experience is preferred. The position is in an outpatient clinic connected to a main hospital and chemotherapy center, requiring hospital privileges. Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent hospital clinical experience in the specialty, explanations for any gaps over 3 months, and current case logs if applicable to surgical specialties.
