We are seeking a skilled Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a locum tenens position at a Clinic in California. This 120-day assignment begins on 09/08/2025, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with evaluations, physical examinations, writing prescriptions, providing specific cancer information to patients, and monitoring treatment plans. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This opportunity may include occasional hospital rounds, with advance notice provided. The physician will be responsible for both hematology and oncology patient care, utilizing IKnowMed for patient management.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct patient evaluations and physical examinations
Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments
Provide detailed cancer information to patients
Develop and monitor treatment plans
Perform chemotherapy evaluations
Utilize IKnowMed for patient management and record-keeping
Maintain a high standard of patient care and satisfaction
Collaborate with clinic staff and other healthcare professionals
Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Perform hospital rounds when required (advance notice will be provided)
Additional Information:
Must be licensed to practice medicine in California
Proficiency in IKnowMed required
Experience in both hematology and oncology preferred
