A leading academic medical center in New Jersey is seeking an accomplished physician to serve asDivision Chief of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine . This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee and advance all clinical, educational, research, and administrative activities within a well-established pediatric pulmonology division.

Position Overview:

  • Provide visionary leadership for a team of pediatric pulmonologists, overseeing faculty activities in clinical care, teaching, research, and administration.

  • Direct all scholarly, clinical, and educational initiatives within the division, including outpatient and inpatient services at a major childrens hospital.

  • Participate in and foster collaborative research, with opportunities for both clinical and laboratory-based investigation.

  • Mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows across a full spectrum of pediatric training programs.

  • Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with other pediatric subspecialists, research faculty, and affiliated institutions.

Qualifications:

  • Board certification in Pediatric Pulmonology.

  • Demonstrated track record of excellence in clinical care, education, and investigative work.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Eligibility for medical licensure in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Minimum academic base salary: $268,759 per year, with additional eligibility for faculty practice compensation.

  • The final salary offer will be determined by qualifications, experience, expertise, and internal equity, and may be influenced by available departmental or grant funding.
