Skowhegan, Maine: A respected independent hospital in central Maine seeks a General Neurologist (MD/DO) to join a growing outpatient Neurology service. You will be based in a modern medical office on the hospital campus, where you will assess and treat outpatients for a variety of issues, illnesses, and conditions. Practice alongside the current Neurologist, supported by an experienced team including MAs, a secretary, and an office manager. This is a newly created position developed in response to strong patient demand in the community.This is an outpatient-only position with no call. Inpatient needs are handled by a dedicated Hospitalist service, and the Emergency Department is staffed 24/7. Occasional inpatient consults are expected, but there is no rounding or call responsibility. You will enjoy a convenient weekday schedule with your choice of four or five days/week (40 hours).You will be employed by the hospital and enjoy a stable, supportive environment where collegiality and collaboration are highly valued.
