Dotdash Meredith is seeking an experienced technologist with a proven track record of mentorship, innovative thinking, and technical excellence to join our Revenue Development team.
This role involves collaborating across the entire Dotdash Meredith portfolio of brands and sites with colleagues and stakeholders, including product owners and engineering teams, to develop innovative advertising solutions. You will have a direct impact on enhancing the advertising experience and increasing revenue.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid 3x a week in-office, with remote work allowed up to 2 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Develop in a full-stack environment using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Java.
- Integrate and develop mobile ad solutions with ReactNative, iOS SDK, and Android SDK.
- Build ad-tech integrations for websites and mobile apps, partnering with consumer-facing teams.
- Integrate audience and content intelligence platforms to explore new engagement avenues.
- Experiment with emerging ad technologies, using data analytics to inform business decisions.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience with JavaScript, preferably vanilla ES6+; Java and NodeJS experience is a plus.
- Experience with mobile technologies such as ReactNative, Swift, and Kotlin.
- Over 3 years of experience in programmatic advertising, familiar with IAB standards like OpenRTB, OpenDirect, VAST, and concepts like header bidding.
- Proven ability to work with APIs and integrate them into solutions.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Git and Jira.

Pay Range
Salary varies by location: New York ($130,000 - $155,000), California, Washington, Illinois ($125,000 - $150,000). Actual compensation depends on experience, location, and performance. Benefits include health coverage, PTO, parental leave, 401K, bonuses, and more.
