Transactional Tax Associate Attorney – Investment Funds
Location Options : San Francisco, San Diego, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Austin
Direct Counsel is seeking a Transactional Tax Associate to join a prestigious, multi-office Am Law 100 firm with a nationally recognized Investment Funds group. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated associate to work at the intersection of fund formation, cross-border structuring, and real estate-related tax matters.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
2–4 years of transactional tax experience at a leading law firm.
JD from an accredited law school and admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
Direct experience with :
Fund formation and secondary transactions
Section 892 investors and income tax treaties
Regulated investment companies
Real estate and cross-border transactions
Key Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication
Attention to detail and sound business judgment
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, supportive team
Compensation & Benefits :
Base salary range : $235,000 – $310,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
