Warehouse Associates
to support daily operations at a well-established logistics company with multiple warehouse facilities across Baton Rouge. This company plays a critical role in serving the
petrochemical industry and other major commercial clients , making it a great opportunity to join a team that moves high-demand products with precision and care.
This is a full-time, physically active position requiring attention to detail, a team-first attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Location:
Baton Rouge, LA Pay:
$12.00/hour to start, increases to $14.00/hour after forklift certification Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (hours may vary)
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload shipments from 18-wheelers using forklifts (once certified) Organize and store incoming materials in designated warehouse areas Support inventory tracking, labeling, and cycle counts Perform general warehouse tasks including picking, packing, and prepping shipments Lift and move items weighing 50 lbs or more on a regular basis Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all safety procedures and company protocols Requirements: Valid driver's license Minimum 6 months of warehouse and forklift experience (forklift certification available on site) Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Strong teamwork skills and willingness to take direction Dress Code: Steel-toe boots required Full-length pants (no holes, graphics, or writing) Shirts with sleeves (no tank tops or graphic designs)
