Job Summary:
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the HR Department and the Chief Human Resources Officer. The Administrative Assistant strives to maintain a friendly, welcoming environment for new hires, current employees, and management. Answers employee inquiries in a professional manner and within scope; escalates more complex issues to the appropriate Subject Matter Expert or Chief Human Resources Officer. Duties include, but are not limited to: launch new hires after offer is made by recruiter, oversee new hire onboarding process including pre-employment paperwork and licensure, communication to new hires and directors and conduct new hire orientation; distributes and tracks 90-Day evaluations; prepares communications and presentations; maintains employee files; audits various departmental processes, creates badges and monitors badge access requests, process status changes and terminations, employee names changes and UKG password resets. Monitors the HR email account for responses and checks the HR mailbox in the mailroom. Provides back-up support to other HR team members as needed. Provides payroll assistance when needed. Other duties as assigned.
Education and Training: High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. Experience:
Minimum of three years of administrative support experience; Human Resources experience or education strongly preferred. Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; focus on grammar, spelling and composition Proofreading skills Ability to remain calm in stressful situations Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills Benefits Overview:
