Field Network Engineer

based

anywhere in the U.S. (remote-based with up to 70% travel)

to join a

This is not your typical desk job. You'll work independently and as part of a high-performance team, traveling across the country to install, upgrade, and support mission-critical network systems. We're looking for road warriors who are highly adaptable, technically sharp, and driven by the challenge of a constantly changing environment. Required Skills & Experience • 3+ years of experience in network engineering or field services • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching • Experience configuring routers, switches, and wireless devices (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, etc.) • Ability to travel up to 90% nationwide • Excellent troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Network+ • Experience with SD-WAN technologies • Familiarity with structured cabling and physical layer network installs • Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus • Comfortable working independently in unfamiliar environments

What You Will Be Doing

Tech Breakdown • 40% Cisco/Juniper/Aruba Networking • 30% Network Troubleshooting & Optimization • 20% Physical Installation (Cabling, Racks, etc.) • 10% Wireless (Wi-Fi) Configuration and Deployment

Daily Responsibilities • 80% Hands On • 10% Management Duties (site coordination, reporting) • 10% Team Collaboration
