Akkodis currently has a Business Analyst position with a client located in Rochester, NY. This is a hybrid position, so the person needs to live within 60 miles of Rochester, NY. No C2C or agencies allowed with this position.Rate Range: $40.00/hour to $45.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.The Business Analyst is responsible for determining the needs of a project, acting as a liaison between product owners, stakeholders, and software development teams. Analyze requirements for a project, reconcile conflicting interests, and determine how to translate the product owners' vision into a plan that can be implemented by developers.Business AnalystThis position reports directly to Sr. Product Owner. The Business Analyst is responsible for determining the needs of a project, acting as a liaison between product owners, stakeholders, and software development teams. They analyze requirements for a project, reconcile conflicting interests, and determine how to translate the product owners' vision into a plan that can be implemented by developers. The job description of a requirements analyst includes analyzing operational business flow, determining business need for systems functional changes, assessing systems suitability, obtaining and documenting users' requirements documents, and assisting in data analysis.RESPONSIBILITIES:•Works closely with the Sr. Product Owner to help define & document the requirements for consumer facing applications•Elicit the requirements from various sources, such as stakeholders, users, documents, existing systems, or market research. Eliciting requirements involves asking the right questions, listening actively, observing behaviors, and facilitating workshops or interviews.•Analyze the requirements and ensure that they are clear, consistent, complete, feasible, and testable. Analyzing requirements involves breaking down complex problems, identifying dependencies and constraints, resolving conflicts, and prioritizing needs.•Validate the requirements and ensure that they meet the expectations and needs of the stakeholders and users. Validating requirements involves reviewing, verifying, and validating the requirements with the relevant parties, as well as conducting tests, prototypes, or simulations.•Manage the requirements and ensure that they are aligned with the project scope, objectives, and changes. Managing requirements involves documenting, tracing, baselining, and controlling the requirements throughout the project lifecycle.•Communicate the requirements and ensure that they are understood and agreed by all the project participants. Communicating requirements involves creating, presenting, and distributing the requirements artifacts, such as specifications, diagrams, or user stories.•Improve the requirements and ensure that they are continuously refined and optimized. Improving requirements involves evaluating, measuring, and improving the requirements process, methods, and outcomes.•Collaborate with Sr. Product Owner & Project Management to transform product visions into actionable requirements along with user interaction and user interface designers.•Collaborate with user experience designers to capture and document the user interface implementation and customer experience for new features•Demonstrate accountability and contribute to the success of the organization•Employ change management principles and methodologies.•Attends Software Development Sprint Reviews to review the implementation of the requested features and to adjust the requirements as deemed appropriate for the optimal success of the product.•Ability to work quickly and efficiently, always staying well ahead of the feature development team.REQUIREMENTS:•Several years of experience in multiple areas of relevant software experience.•Experience in the Business Analyst or System Analyst role•High-level proficiency in technical documentation and user documentation•1-3 years' experience with SCRUM or an equivalent software development methodology•Imaging and knowledge of the Photo Imaging industry (Preferred)DESIRED:•Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)•Proven analytical and problem-solving skills•Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills•Critical thinking•Technical knowledge•Software Quality Assurance Background•Ability to work in high-pressure situations•Experience with Data Analytic PlatformsIf you are interested in this Business Analyst job, then please click APPLY NOW.
