About The Role:
Join our team as a Project Manager, where you'll lead complex IT initiatives within the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES). You'll work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) Director to manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Your role will involve proposing innovative solutions, managing risks, and enhancing business processes.
You'll also provide strategic advice to the PMO Director, ensuring smooth operations and prioritizing activities based on leadership directives. Collaboration with various department levels, external vendors, and federal partners is key, including coordination with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Must-Have Skills & Experience: 10 years of experience with Agile and Waterfall software development concepts 10 years of experience in senior-level project management practices and principles, including the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) 10 years of experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Successful leadership of project teams through implementations, including at least one project of $1M or higher Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Desired Skills & Experience:
Experience with MITA Architecture 5 years of vendor management and contract oversight 5 years of working knowledge of the Advance Planning Document (APD) process for federal grants from CMS 10 years of experience with MS Project, including creating, managing, analyzing, and reporting on integrated project schedules 5 years of experience with Medicaid and/or other health claims processing systems Knowledge of health information exchanges and system interoperability
