Key Responsibilities: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Critical Care Unit (CCU/ICU) Provide direct patient care as needed, ensuring safe and efficient clinical practices Supervise and mentor nursing staff, facilitating education and professional development Assist with staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives Assist with Audits, Inventory, Ordering, and Coordinating training Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Participate in quality improvement projects and departmental initiatives Serve as a role model for professionalism and evidence-based practice Additional Job Description
Qualifications:
Required:
Current RN license in South Carolina or a compact state Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Minimum 3 years of recent ICU/critical care nursing experience Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification with the American Heart Association
Preferred:
Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration Previous leadership or charge nurse experience
