Job Overview: We are seeking a
Product Security Engineer
to join our product security team in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in security-related activities including threat modeling, IEC 62443-4-2 product certification, third-party library management, vulnerability investigations, and ensuring product compliance. Additionally, the candidate must be capable of building and maintaining
automated Python-based test suites
to support product features across the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain
automated test suites in Python
for both new and existing product features. Engage in full SDLC activities: requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing maintenance. Perform a wide range of product security functions, including:
Threat modeling IEC 62443-4-2 certification processes 3rd-party component management Vulnerability assessments Compliance tracking and validation
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years
of software engineering experience using
C/C++, Python, GIT
(Rating: 5) 2+ years
of security-focused experience in
real-time embedded software development
(Rating: 5) Experience with security & safety standards like
IEC 61508 or IEC 62443
(Rating: 4) Strong experience with
automated testing ,
CI/CD , and applying
security best practices across the SDLC
(Rating: 5)
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with
Rockwell Automation Software
(e.g., Studio 5000, FactoryTalk suite) (Rating: 4). Knowledge of
Rockwell Automation Hardware
(e.g., ControlLogix5580, CompactLogix5380) (Rating: 4). Experience managing
Windows Server Active Directory , including
Group Policy Hardening
(Rating: 3). Understanding of
OT Network Security Practices
and
Windows Workstation Troubleshooting
(Rating: 3). Exposure to
ControlLogix Safety
and
High-Availability Systems
