As a K12 school-based speech-language pathologist (slp) in aurora, co, youll deliver tailored speech and language services that strengthen studentscommunication abilities and support their academic and social success. Key responsibilities Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing evaluations to identify each students unique needs. Iep Development & Implementation: Write, implement, and monitor iep goals and evidence-based therapy plans. Therapy Delivery: Provide individual and small-group sessions targeting articulation, fluency, language comprehension, expressive language, and social-pragmatic skills. Collaborative Consultation: Partner with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate communication strategies into classroom routines. Progress Monitoring: Collect and analyze data on student performance, modifying interventions to maximize outcomes. Team Participation: Actively engage in iep meetings and multidisciplinary discussions to advocate for each students best interests. Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records and ensure all practices comply with district policies and colorado state regulations. Job details Position type: Contract role in a school setting, with the option to renew for the 20252026 school year based on mutual interest Hours: Part-time or full-time (mondayfriday;flexible scheduling to meet district needs) Pay rate: $45$65+ per hour Caseload: Pre-k through 12th grade;placements available across all age ranges and program types - hiring multiple candidates!
