Location/Division Specific Information Lenexa, Kansas Our Microbiology Division is a leader in providing world-class solutions and workflows for food, clinical, and pharmaceutical environments. We serve diverse markets including food manufacturers, clinical and healthcare facilities, pharma, and biotech industries. Our division excels in manufacturing culture media and other microbiological diagnostic products, catering to the needs of pharmaceutical, food, and clinical laboratories. How will you make an impact? As a Manufacturing Operator II, you will take on an exceptionally important role in ensuring the flawless execution of production processes. By strictly adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instruction Documents, you will be instrumental in assembly, materials handling, equipment operation, and packaging of finished goods. What will you do? Follow all written procedures and report discrepancies to the Area Supervisor. Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required and refer to job-specific Safety Analysis. Perform all work activities in a safe manner and maintain a clutter-free work area. Relay written and verbal instructions in English. Report property damage and safety hazards immediately. Document work accurately and check for quality and compliance. Efficiently operate assigned machinery and perform simple maintenance. Monitor product for defects continuously. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Accurately dispense required additives and perform pH balance techniques. Blend material as needed for production Complete required documentation accurately and neatly. Set up and adjust machinery to run various sizes and types. Assist in maintaining quality assurance and suggest process improvements. How will you get here? Education Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent experience Experience 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment; aseptic experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical environment preferred. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Ability to push/pull up to 600lb kettles, and stand for long periods (around 10 hours a day). Communicate effectively in English and perform basic math.
