Business Development Representative
Fulgent Genetics is looking for a goal-oriented self-starter to join our business development team! Join a fast-growing leader in clinical genetics and genomics and participate in our mission to improve patient health. As leaders in our industry we seek qualified and science-oriented individuals who can bring our innovative solutions to the market to support clinicians, researchers, and partners in the Biotech and Pharma sectors. Responsibilities: Assist in everyday business functions such as Business Development, Marketing, Project Management, Customer Service, and Account Management. Identify client needs and propose appropriate products or services. Conduct product/service presentations at sales events, conferences, medical institutions, research institutions, or for other business partners. Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and convert them into clients. Initiate and maintain contact with clients and prospects. Analyze sales data, google analytics, current market trends to identify new business opportunities. Create sales reports for management review. Contribute to pricing, promotion, and product strategies based on sales data and analysis. Qualifications: BS or MS in related field. Knowledge in genetics required. Knowledge in NGS & genomics preferred. Availability to travel ?25% of the time. Self-motivated, accountable for managing his/her own time. Ability to take initiative and work independently. Goal oriented, fast learner with the ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving market. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Detail oriented, organized, and flexible. Honest and responsible.
