The UNM School Of Law anticipates hiring qualified temporary part-time Adjunct Faculty to teach and develop specialized legal courses. Openings include the following subjects: Administrative Law Education Law Environmental Litigation Drafting Federal Law In Practice Immigration Law Introduction To U.S. Law LAB Legal Analysis For The Uniform Bar Exam Positions are contingent upon need each semester as determined by student enrollment levels, current course offerings matrix, and demand driven by graduation requirements. Positions may be filled or eliminated each semester up to the deadline for students to drop or add courses. For best consideration please apply by these dates: August 8th, 2025 for Fall Semester 2025 October 24th, 2025 for Spring 2026 Semester April 17th, 2025 for Summer Semester 2026 Temporary Part-Time/Adjunct Faculty at the School Of Law are compensated based on credit hour course loads Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: J.D. or equivalent legal degree Preferred Qualifications: At least 5 years of law practice; or Prior Experience Teaching At The School Of Law Or Another Law School; or Demonstrated Expertise Relevant To A Curricular Need; And A Demonstrated Commitment To Cultivate An Understanding Of The Rich And Varied Cultures Of New Mexico And To The Success Of The University's Mission To Serve Local And Global Communities.
