The Manufacturing Technician II is responsible for manufacturing next-generation sequencing reagents and kits, working both independently and as part of a team in concordance with established procedures and ISO 13485 guidelines. This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is part of the Gen Manufacturing team located in Boulder, Colorado and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Use clearly defined standard operating procedures to manufacture next-generation sequencing library preparation reagents and products Perform routine maintenance on equipment and participate in laboratory cleanliness and organization Identify the need for documentation/process changes, process deviations, product non-conformances and other occurrences that can indicate the ineffectiveness of the quality and/or manufacturing systems The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor's degree in a science related field (Biology, Genetics, Chemistry or related life science field preferred); Alternatively, an Associate's degree with 1 years of IDT experience. Micropipetting skills including ability to pipette reagents or solutions of different viscosities such as buffers, enzymes, DNA, and RNA Ability to adhere to defined protocols and procedures It would be a plus if you also possess: Experience and familiarity working with next-generation sequencing technologies Experience working in a regulated environment, especially ISO 13485 Experience and familiarity working with automated manufacturing equipment such as liquid handlers, vial labelers, and vial cappers IDT, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
