Cedar Rapids Accounting And Finance Rotation Program
Selected candidates will participate in the Cedar Rapids Accounting and Finance Rotation Program. This program aims to provide early career talent with a variety of work experiences within the Cedar Rapids Finance team. Available experiences include Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Accounting, Program Planning and Control, Contracts and Pricing. In addition to work experience, the program offers opportunities for professional development, mentoring, and networking. What You Will Do: Participates in financial planning, including analysis of cost reduction strategies, earned value management, and all general and administrative accounting and budget processes. Review the organization's revenues, liabilities, credit conditions, and other financial indicators to contribute to forecasts of short, medium, and long-term cash flow position. Provide guidance or expertise to external consultants and advisors (e.g., tax advisors, accounting firms) with data, policy, and practice information. Provide functional or operational area employees with information to help them manage their financial responsibilities. What You Will Learn: Best practices in financial forecasting and budgeting Effective communication and presentation skills for reporting financial data to stakeholders Collaborative skills by working closely with cross-functional teams Strategies for identifying and implementing process improvements Understanding of industry-specific financial trends and market dynamics Qualifications You Must Have: Requires a Bachelors degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships). U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
