Snapology Benbrook is hiring enthusiastic, reliable instructors and assistants to lead hands-on LEGO-based STEM programs for children ages 412. We provide the curriculum, materials, and trainingyou bring the energy, organization, and love for working with kids. Roles & Responsibilities
Instructor
Lead engaging, curriculum-guided STEM activities for groups of up to 20 students (an assistant will be assigned for groups of 14+). Follow Snapology's structured lesson plansno lesson planning or supply prep required! Guide students in using materials and equipment responsibly. Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom using Snapology's rules and expectations. Observe and support student progress, adjusting engagement strategies as needed. Prepare for programs by reviewing materials, watching training videos, and attending occasional in-person trainings in Benbrook. Handle basic communication with parents about Snapology programs and encourage future enrollment. Ensure classroom materials are picked up, cleaned, and returned after camps. Assistant Instructor
Support the lead instructor by organizing materials, helping manage the classroom, and engaging with students. Help set up and clean up materials before and after class. Contribute to creating a positive, fun learning environment. Qualifications:
Must pass (or be able to obtain) Criminal and Child Abuse Clearances At least 2 years of experience working with children in a classroom, camp, or similar setting Preferred: Education degree, teaching certification, or currently pursuing a degree in education Strong communication and classroom management skills Dependable and punctual Able to work both independently and as part of a team After School Program Opportunities:
Classes are held at various locations in Southwest Fort Worth Programs run MondayThursday, with different schools each day Most classes are 1 hour long and begin between 2:00 and 3:30 PM, depending on the location Ideal for those with flexible weekday afternoons and a passion for working with children! Additional opportunities include: Recreation Center Classes Preschool daytime class (every other week) Saturday events Birthday parties Single-day workshop-style events (23 hours) with partner organization Instructors will coordinate with the owner for pick-up and return of class materials Compensation
Flat rates per session include material prep, lesson review, setup, and cleanup. Travel time is paid in addition to class time. (up to a maximum of 25 min 1 way) Instructor Pay Rates:
1 hour: $30 2 hours: $50 3 hours: $65 4 hours: $80 Assistant Pay Rates:
1 hour: $20 2 hours: $35 3 hours: $45 4 hours: $55 Example:

: $27.50 Note: This is a flexible role. Applicants must be willing to serve as both instructor and assistant depending on the needs of the program. Our student-to-teacher ratio goal is 12:1, and we work to match teaching roles accordingly. This is a part time positionmost employees average between 5-10 hours per week.
