Men's Residential Program Transportation Specialist II
HealthRIGHT 360 gives hope, builds health, and changes lives for people in need by providing comprehensive, integrated, compassionate care that includes primary medical care, mental health services, and substance use disorder treatment. The Men's Residential Program Transportation Specialist II is responsible for the transportation needs of clients and ensures that clients are safely transported to and from various locations. (Examples: DMV, social security, legal, medical, mental health, and dental appointments). Transportation Specialist II also ensures all transportation documentation is appropriately maintained and up to date. Key responsibilities include: Safely transporting participants in company provided vehicle following all applicable federal and state driving laws. Maintaining appropriate staff/participant boundaries. Ensuring routine vehicle maintenance including inspections, interior and exterior cleaning, and pumping gas. Performing crisis intervention and communicating with the treatment team as unforeseen situations arise. Performing periodic house runs to ensure and maintain the safety and security of the facility as needed. Accompanying clients to offsite appointments related to their treatment. Assisting with warehouse pick-ups. Entering transportation activities in the company database, filing related paperwork, maintaining, and preparing vehicle usage reports and logs. Maintaining and reconciling invoicing and backup documentation for transportation services. Maintaining accurate vehicle documentation with guidelines established by HealthRIGHT-360 to satisfy internal and external evaluating requirements. Supporting other areas including working the front desk/nexus, conducting safety hourly room checks, collaborating with CDCR personnel during official CDCR counts, conducting client urine analysis/drug testing, conducting client's personal property inventory, maintaining client's property room organized and clearly labeled, monitoring client meals, monitoring family visiting, and accompanying administrative personnel to bank to support with safety. Education and knowledge, skills and abilities qualifications: Required: Valid California Driver's license (Class B license preferred) Ability to clear and maintain agency vehicle insurance coverage Professional driving experience
5 years Required background clearance: Must complete background check and livescan clearance Ability to pass and maintain a CDCR security clearance, includes FBI and DOJ Required knowledge: Clear understanding of appropriate staff/client boundaries Knowledge of transportation equipment for physically disabled Knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Outlook and internet applications We will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
