Prestage Farms is seeking for a dependable and motivated Hog Loader with the potential to advance into a crew leadership role. This position is responsible for the safe, humane, and efficient loading of hogs for transportation, with a strong emphasis on animal welfare, biosecurity, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have prior livestock handling experience and demonstrate leadership qualities that can grow into supervising a team of loaders. Responsibilities Supervise the loading of market swine. Open gates and move marked swine to the truck driver and holding area according to instructions. Adjust loading ramp and assist truck driver when backing his or her vehicle. Supervise the cleanup of truck, cutting boards, boots, etc. Responsible for the accountability of daily paperwork.
