Actuarial Data Analyst II
Employer: Arbella Insurance Group Job Site: 1100 Crown Colony Drive, Quincy, MA 02169 Job Duties: Support financial data project initiatives for interpreting and translating data needs across Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance organization. Duties include: Ensure accuracy and completeness of tables and databases used for statistical reporting, pricing, reserving and analytical analyses used for P&C insurance pricing analysis; Analyze insurance data needs including quality assurance, data mapping, and data transformation associated with system migration and other company initiatives; Collaborate with stakeholders to understand insurance data needs and work with data engineers to build effective data models; Write SQL scripts and queries to extract insurance data; Create meaningful insurance data visualizations using Tableau and Power BI; Use programming languages including: Java, Python or R; Create data mappings and perform data gap analysis for downstream insurance applications; and Generate reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present insurance findings. May telecommute within commuting distance of the worksite. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Analytics or related field and 2 years of experience conducting analysis for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance pricing; or in the alternative, employer will accept Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Analytics or related field and 5 years of experience conducting analysis for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance pricing. Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently: 2 years of SQL experience for P&C insurance including: developing custom SQL queries to extract data for analysis and reporting. 2 years of experience using ETL processes and data integration platforms to create and manage data mappings that consolidate data through different systems, applications and services. 2 years of experience verifying accuracy and completeness of data used in pricing analysis, risk models and reserve calculations for P&C insurance. 2 years of experience gathering and analyzing data requirements, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. 1 year of experience documenting data requirements, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. 2 years of experience working with data models. 2 years of experience writing and executing test cases, documenting results, and tracking defects. 2 years of experience analyzing business and regulatory changes and assessing their impact on data reporting and analysis. **Job Opportunity Qualifies For Employee Incentive Referral Program**
