Responsible for technical functions in support of engineering and manufacturing. Responsibilities and tasks include but are not limited to hardware design, schematic capture and layout in Altium, CBA troubleshooting, verification testing, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment, and supporting continuing products Regulatory & Safety Compliance. Applications may include analog, digital, graphical interface, external peripheral integration using common communication protocols and other hardware system implementations. Will apply principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuity, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing, and physics, as applicable. Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work. Performs operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, construction, test and verification of production test equipment. Utilizes manufacturing test, development or diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital volt meters, signal generators, logic analyzers and specialized test apparatus. Competencies

Vocational or Technical Certificate in related field and at a minimum of 5-10 years of directly related experience, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in a directly related field. Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and basic understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Other Essential Duties

Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required. Other Skills and Abilities
