Electrical Assembler 1st Shift
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join their team. As an Electrical Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully with the organization's goals. Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM What's the Job?
Electrical Assembly: Assemble electrical panels, wiring harnesses, and other electrical components according to engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications. Install various electronic components such as sensors, controllers, and circuit boards. Assemble electrical cables, install wiring harnesses, route, and secure wiring. Terminate cables precisely to ensure stable and reliable electrical connections. Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Machine Power Up: Execute lock out tag out procedures to ensure the safe de-energization of machinery during assembly activities. Safely power up machines, verify proper functioning, and address any issues that arise during the initial power-up phase. Component Inspection and Testing: Inspect and conduct thorough testing and calibration of electrical components to verify their functionality and compliance with specifications. Troubleshooting: Identify any defects or discrepancies and resolve electrical issues to ensure all assemblies function correctly and to maintain high quality standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, test results, and any modifications made during the assembly. What's Needed?
5 + years of experience in electrical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of electrical testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, technical drawings, and engineering specifications. Accurately use testing equipment and procedures to diagnose and troubleshoot potential issues. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
