We are a part of a national family of accredited schools serving infants through kindergarten, after-schoolers, and their families and communities. We have immediate full and part-time positions available working with children ranging in age from infants to school age. Maintain a positive relationship with parents, children, and co-workers Support the lead teacher in maintaining a positive, appropriately-structured environment while adhering to the provided classroom schedule Support the lead teacher in implementing the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming Help to maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create and explore Attend all required staff meetings, workshops, and/or school functions, ensuring that training requirements are met or exceeded Observe all rules and regulations of the Primrose School at Westerre Commons and the local, state, or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children Requirements:
Ability to relate positively to young children Previous teaching experience in a public or private school, preschool, or childcare center is preferred but we are willing to train the right person Excellent communication skills Skills in time management with the ability to organize environment and prioritize work Two year degree in early childhood or related field is preferred but we are willing to train the right person Must be at least 18 years old.
