Schedule: Rotating 12 hour shift Compensation: $24.10 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Functions Statement(s) Moves loaded and empty trailers in and out of the docks. Shuttles empty and loaded trailers from Conway AR to Maumelle AR and back. Works 12-hour shifts (5:00am -5:00pm or 5:00pm-5:00am). Performs manual duties out of the truck as assigned. Ensures product or equipment is inspected & free of damage or contamination. Completes paperwork/documentation properly. Uses a basic computer and or tablet for documentation purposes. Operates handheld radio. Daily housekeeping of the tractor being operated that day. Reports any inconsistencies to the shift supervisor. Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts. Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards. Performs all other duties as assigned or needed. Competency Statement(s) Attendance - Ability to work the required schedule (12-hour shift) and arrive at work on time. Ability and willingness to work the voluntary/mandatory overtime that is required during the busy season. Communication - Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally in a courteous and professional manner with others. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Mathematics- Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage. Language
Ability to identify and compare letters and numbers. Ability to read and interpret documents such as receivers, invoices, operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and write simple sentences. Diversity Oriented - Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or job type.
