This role is eligible to participate in Zenith's hybrid work schedule which provides the flexibility to work from home on select days of the week according to the in-office schedule established by regional executive leadership. Selected candidate must be able to report into the Roseville, CA office on a weekly basis. A Brief Overview Under general supervision review, analyze, and evaluate department specific information technology systems and user needs. Determines user needs and requirements and recommends ways to improve systems. Serves as primary point of contact between users, management and engineering/development staff. What You Will Do Analyze business needs and opportunities on moderately complex business problems to drill into what is needed and why. Gather and organize information on problems, procedures, projects. Analyze gathered data and develop solutions, alternative methods of proceeding, or summary assessments. Prepare research reports. May advise others on business or operational matters. Discuss business strategies, practices, or policies with managers to understand how to improve systems. May lead/coordinate system testing and compile UAT documentation. When appropriate confer with individuals to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented/revised systems or procedures. May review forms and reports and confer with management and users about format, distribution, and purpose, and identify problems and improvements. May interview individuals and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit/department functions, work performed, methods, equipment, and staff used in order to improve systems. May document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems or procedures. May design, evaluate, recommend, and approve changes to forms and reports. May plan study of work problems, processes, procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated productions methods, inventory control, or cost analysis, etc. May serve as operations advisor to technical teams on projects involving technical solutions. May document business processes both in technical step-by-step formats and in work flow diagrams. May support user training as a subject matter expert. May lead operations based project initiatives that outline tasks associated with IT project work. May be required to design, implement, and maintain business process reviews and quality assurance programs that monitor new or changed programs. Develops and maintains a strong working relationship with the IT department. Performs project analysis and writes requirements and specifications to implement modifications and enhancements to data processing systems to support management control and decision-making activities. Reviews and analyzes external drivers for the business and conducts "best practices" research. Participates in matching technology to business needs and providing technical consulting services to users. Provides business expertise to IT department. Assists clients in developing and maintaining system and/or training manuals. Applies principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Work productively and harmoniously with others on a consistent basis. Respond positively to direction and feedback on performance. Consistently maintain professional and appropriate demeanor. Perform other duties/projects as assigned. Education Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required Experience Qualifications 1-3 Years directly related, progressively responsible technical support analyst experience required Skills and Abilities Intermediate level knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within field. Demonstrated ability to negotiate options, resolve conflicts, and influence others on complex topics. May require specific certification(s). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills. The expected salary range for this position is $66,171.73 - $82,714.67. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level.
