Senior Investment Analyst
The Senior Investment Analyst is responsible for a variety of functions within Trade Operations, including the confirmation and settlement of fixed income trades, problem resolution, and supporting the needs of the Front Office related to a wide array of fixed income and bank loan instruments. Responsibilities
Confirm and settle trades with counterparties and custodians, collaborating with the Front Office as needed. Settle trades in DTC, Euroclear, physicals, book entry, and global local market settlements. Provide bank loan support to the Front Office and outsourcers. Process and instruct asset transfers between custodians, administrators, and counterparties in matters related to settlement. Resolve trade adjustments and settlement issues promptly. Report and resolve failed trades in a timely manner. Collaborate with various internal and external parties to understand customer needs and ensure positive outcomes. Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in the finance services back or middle office group, preferably in fixed income. Experience with DTC, Euroclear, and global local market settlements. Proficiency in settling trades using BlackRock Aladdin trade order management system, CTM, and ClearPar. Proficiency in trade settlement and fixed income. Experience in investment banking. Familiarity with DTC, Euroclear, ClearPar, BlackRock Aladdin, and Alert systems. Strong skills in investment analysis, portfolio analysis, and finance. Knowledge of securities, financial services, asset management, and trade finance. Understanding of derivatives and structured finance. Competency in foreign exchange and Bloomberg. Work Environment
This position is 100% remote with a team of 5 individuals. The working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM CST. This will be a 12 month contract with potential for conversion. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
