Assembler will be responsible for assembly of axles and related components on the assembly line. Proper assembly is done to ensure a quality axle product in a safe and timely fashion, and to ensure all product is assembled, tested and verified to customer specifications. Duties & Responsibilities Check specs, load/unload production lines Utilizes measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc.) Performs 100% manual inspection of parts Inspect parts produced to ensure they meet specification, using basic inspection equipment Make necessary offsets Change/adjust production tooling Complete production paperwork Daily preventative maintenance, remove and dispose of chips/shavings, replenish fluids/lubricants Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas - perform 5S cleaning responsibilities Understand and review the product throughout the product process to ensure final product quality meets standards Must be able to work overtime if needed and have excellent attendance record Perform all other duties as assigned or needed Follow any other instructions or duties as necessary Education & Training High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Knowledge & Experience Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience Must have experience in machining and using measuring tools such as drop indicators, dial gauges, plug gauges and calipers Ability to read build tickets to assemble finished product Skills & Abilities Must be able to lift and move objects up to 90 lbs. consistently and during 8

12 hr shift Withstand long periods of standing, bending, twisting and/or lifting Able to work in a fast pace environment on production lines Use lifting equipment Working Conditions Work Environment Inside/Outside conditions, Varied Temperature Changes
