The Impact you will have in this role :

The Product Owner is responsible for translating the product vision into squad results to achieve the product strategy, aligned with improving value to the client. This role will be working with the Product Manager, clients (internal/external) and key team members.

Your Primary Responsibilities : Drives product vision and strategy Brings the voice of the client (external/internal) into the squad and the voice of the squad to the organization Analyze and identify market opportunities to expand or build products. Partner with customers to understand applicable regulation and develop requirements that drive regulatory obedient solutions Delivers and documents business requirements in a clear and consistent manner through user stories in JIRA and other tools. Collaborate with the team to bring a new product functionality/service to market and engage with all aspects of the launch. Facilitates and leads external working groups and other relevant subject matter working groups. Translates the vision and the roadmap into squad deliverables and release plans Act as Product Owner in an Agile squad and partnering with internal teams for prioritizations and implementation of new features ensuring that all proposed changes are reviewed, feedback is incorporated, and any impact is fully communicated to collaborators. Cultivates relationships with critical team members to maintain alignment to achieve strategic goals Evaluates shared issues, risks, and dependencies through to resolution Improve delivered value by evaluating implementation alternatives and considering impact of cost, schedule, and risk profiles. Anticipates market/user needs and difficulties and helps cultivate solutions for client issues. Ability to-effectively plan and coordinate multiple demands and challenging priorities. Assists in product training efforts for all touchpoints to both internal and external customers, inclusive of documentation, publications, E Training tools, FAQ's. Expected to be a SME in an area of the product and, where required, to attend meetings with clients to help with product area of expertise. Identifies potential risks to achieving project objectives and elevates to appropriate management. Mitigates risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior. **NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **

Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of related experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred Knowledge of financial services and experience in Derivatives Reporting. Knowledge of new technologies (Cloud, AI, etc.) Experience in Agile/scrum methodology, including defining a minimal viable product, and exposure to other software development methodologies Talents Needed for Success:

Capable of communicating and influencing all collaborators (technology, clients, finance, integration, sales, ops) to consistently deliver the right products and solutions Exhibit shown understanding of Agile Software Development (primarily Scrum and Kanban) principles and techniques Understand and use applicable work management tools (i.e. JIRA) for decision making and collaboration Drive creative and problem-solving activity with all participants and partners Knowledge of financial services operations, in particular Post Trade Processing, trends and user demands Self-starter with a proven ability to prioritize, own and drive projects, and quickly learn new concepts and frameworks Experience of change management within financial services regulatory reporting operations.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
