Your Impact as Activity & Wellness Director: You'll be at the heart of our vibrant community, responsible for:

Creating and Coordinating Fun:

Design and lead diverse group and individual activities within budget, tracking participation, maintaining records, and receiving feedback from residents. Organize, decorate, and maintain activity spaces for holidays and special events, keeping bulletin boards updated and rooms tidy. Sharing Our Story:

Highlight our vibrant community through engaging activities. Craft and distribute engaging monthly newsletters and activity calendars to residents, families, and prospective members. Foster volunteer involvement, connecting residents and families with meaningful opportunities in the local community. Supporting Growth:

Attend and engage in professional workshops, meetings, and mandatory in-service training. Orient and guide new volunteers, facilitating their smooth integration. Support new residents' transition through orientation programs and completion of their Social Profiles. Championing Residents' Rights:

Ensure compliance with all residents' rights regulations, promptly reporting any observed violations. Being a Team Leader:

Actively participate in the management team and serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) on rotation. Plan, present, and engage in staff meetings, marketing initiatives, and community events. Facilitate Resident Council Meetings, maintain open, clear communication with residents and families, and assist with transportation needs for scheduled activities and appointments. Leading & Supervising:

Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise volunteers and an Activities Assistant, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional programming. Who You Are:

Passionate about working with seniors, understanding their unique needs. Creatively driven, self-motivated, dependable, and proactive. Pleasant, friendly, professional in appearance and demeanor. Flexible with scheduling (evenings/weekends as needed). Able to collaborate effectively, fostering a positive team environment. Your Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent (required). 3-5 years relevant experience preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Facebook, and familiarity with YARDI software preferred. Valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Qualified Activity & Wellness Director per state licensure guidelines. Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, with weekends as necessary, participating in MOD rotation.

Starting Salary:

$47,000/year
