The Global Marketing Director for Companion Animals is a key leader responsible for developing and implementing a unified global marketing strategy to drive sales growth, ensure brand consistency, and build collaboration across different regions. Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive global marketing strategies for the Companion Animals segment, focusing on market share, and profitability while identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation Lead the creation and execution of the Companion Animals marketing plan, overseeing the global portfolio, and marketing communication strategies in collaboration with regional teams Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand customer behavior, preferences, and competitor strategies, using these insights to drive business decisions and the innovation pipeline Manage and develop the Companion Animals marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence, setting clear objectives, providing feedback, and addressing skill gaps through recruitment Drive cross-functional collaboration and budget management by working closely with various internal teams to align marketing strategies with business goals, provide market feedback for product development, and guide budget allocation to maximize returns Skills and Expertise
Qualifications
Proven experience (8 years+) in crafting and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for a specific market segment, ideally within pet food or a related industry Demonstrated ability to drive business performance, including increasing market share, volume, and profitability, and formulating commercial strategies to meet sales and margin goals Strong leadership skills with experience in directing marketing teams, setting objectives, providing mentorship, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence Expertise in market analysis and research, including gaining insights into customer behavior, evaluating competitor strategies, and utilizing data to make informed business decisions Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with product, operational marketing, commercial, and R&D teams to align strategies and provide market-driven insights for product development Bachelor's Business Degree or Master's Degree
