Automation Manager

The Automation Manager is responsible for the repair and maintenance of production equipment. This includes both planned preventive maintenance and ad hoc repairs. The role also encompasses the implementation, procurement, and technical support of new production equipment and automated technologies. The Automation Manager is responsible for ensuring the availability of spare parts required for ongoing maintenance operations. This includes consumables such as light bulbs, cables, and similar items. The Automation Manager is responsible for ordering and overseeing the use of all cleaning and hygiene materials used for production line maintenance. The Automation Manager is responsible for regularly inspecting and scheduling both planned major repairs and installation projects related to the company's production activities. The manager must develop plans with external contractors to carry out the necessary work with minimal disruption to production operations. Duties and Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of production equipment, including preventive maintenance and technical support for new automation technologies. Coordination of External Services

Manages third-party contractor services, ensures safe work execution, and appoints internal supervisors to oversee contractor activities on-site. Spare Parts, Materials & Workshop Oversight

Ensures availability of spare parts, consumables, maintenance tools, cleaning, and hygiene materials required for smooth operations. Team Management & Development

Oversees performance evaluations, training, and development of team members; supports continuous improvement and promotion planning. Compliance & Safety

Ensures all maintenance and technical activities comply with legal, environmental, safety, and fire protection regulations (ISO 14001, workplace safety standards, etc.). Process & Documentation Control

Maintains up-to-date maintenance documentation, schedules maintenance and installation projects, and ensures proper calibration of technical instruments. Scope Authority

Issue Reporting

Reports any arising issues to the direct supervisor. Communication Scope

Maintains regular communication with the supervisor. Scope of Work

Performs tasks based on the instructions of the supervisor and in accordance with valid work procedures. Qualification and Experience

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in electronics development or robotics within a manufacturing environment. Practical experience in programming and operating electronically driven production equipment and industrial robots. Relevant degree in Mechatronics or a closely related technical field.
