Career Team is seeking a Data Management Specialist to support workforce programs in North Central Texas. This role is responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing participant data to ensure compliance with program policies and procedures, particularly within WIOA and related initiatives. The Data Management Specialist will play a key role in driving continuous improvement by delivering actionable insights and providing data-driven technical assistance to enhance program performance. This position reports directly to the Performance Manager and supports both internal teams and external reporting requirements through accurate, timely data management. Your Impact on Career Team's Success: Collect and analyze relevant participant and workforce activity data to gauge program performance and identify trends Utilize statistical tools and methodologies to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and contractual obligations through detailed data reviews and assessments Support continuous quality improvement by conducting regular data reviews, pinpointing areas needing enhancement, and implementing data-informed strategies Analyze performance trends using data insights and provide technical support in collaboration with the Area Managers and Executive Director to address areas of non-compliance or underperformance Communicate analytical findings and actionable recommendations clearly to management and relevant staff Review and suggest improvements to operational procedures based on data analysis, enhancing data governance and accuracy Manage and update the document control system to ensure accurate documentation and ease of access Develop and oversee a robust monitoring system using data to ensure uniformity and reliability in operational procedures Validate performance data and produce comprehensive weekly performance reports for the leadership team Other duties and projects as needed The Ideal Qualifications for this Position Include: Bachelor's degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience Proven experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, and performance evaluation Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-thought-out decisions Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure to complete a high volume of work assignments with speed and accuracy Must be computer literate and have MS Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills at minimum, and the ability to learn specialized databases and software systems Ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base with the ability to be culturally sensitive Ability to meet and exceed set goals and objectives Excellent interpersonal, time management, customer service, organizational skills, and communication skills, both oral and written required Knowledgeable about WIOA, Choices, TANF and SNAP programs and other workforce program requirements A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient in maintaining a high level of confidentiality Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure A Valid Driver's License Additional Skills/Knowledge Career Team Would Love for This Role: Master's or MBA degree Bilingual or Multilingual Training in Trauma Informed Care, evidence-based practice, and/or whole family services Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Employee Job Site: Onsite Salary: $47,000 - $52,000/yr Travel: 15% travel within the region
